My Definite Chief Aim
I, Bruce Lee, will be the first highest paid Oriental super star in the United States. In return I will give the most exciting performances and render the best of quality in the capacity of an actor. Starting 1970 I will achieve world fame and from then onward till the end of 1980 I will have in my possession $10,000,000. I will live the way I please and achieve inner harmony and happiness.
In the early 1970′s, he became an international superstar and no doubt he was the highest paid Oriental super star in the United States. Sadly his life was cut short and he died at the age of 32. But if he would have lived, he definitely would have earned more than $10,000,000 in his lifetime.

Aside from a martial artist, and actor, Bruce Lee was a philosopher. He was a leader in the personal development arena, and a true continuous learner.
Here is a short-list of some of Bruce Lee’s most popular and insightful quotes. Enjoy …
YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK
Bruce Lee said “As you think, so shall you become.”
Your thoughts dictate who you are. If you think you’re worthless, overweight, poor, and dumb, that’s the type of person you’ll be. If you think to be treated as a king in your passionate field, you will be getting royal treatment. Visualize your great future in your mind consistently.
DON’T FEAR FAILURE
Bruce Lee said “Don’t fear failure. Failure is not a crime. But low aim, is the crime. In great attempts it is glorious even to fail.”
When we fail we need not be saddened. If we analyze the reasons of failure and change the strategy surely we can hit the target.
CHOOSE YOUR OWN PATH
Bruce Lee said “I’m not in this world to live up to your expectations and you’re not in this world to live up to mine.”
Why do you care about what others think? Don’t let other people tell you how to live your life. Don’t do something to please others. It will make you miserable. You’ll go to your deathbed with a ton of regret.
FOCUS
Bruce Lee said “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.”
A jack of all trades is not excellent at one particular craft. Focusing allows you to continually produce quality work. When all of your energy goes into one piece of work, that laser focus leads to success.
DON’T WASTE TIME
Bruce Lee said “If you love life, don’t waste time, for time is what life is made up of.”
Wasting time means wasting ourselves. No matter how organized we are, there are always only 24 hours in a day. Time doesn’t change. All we can actually manage is ourselves and what we do with the time that we have. Time is your most precious resource.
DON’T WAIT FOR MIRACLES
Bruce Lee said “To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.”
Ask anyone who’s had success and you’ll hear how they created their opportunities. They put in the work every day. They sacrificed. If you want to improve your life, don’t wait for miracles to happen. Start working on your own miracles.
REFUSE MEDIOCRITY
Bruce Lee said “The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering.”
Life is a gift. Many of us go through life with the perception that we are born to just grow up, go to school, get a job, find a partner, have kids, retire, and leave the planet of old age or illness. There is nothing special to remember about such a mediocre life. If you want to be remembered even after your death you have to live a life of purpose. Let us find a purpose in our life which is so big to challenge our entire capacity to prove the best.
